Happy Halloween.. for yesterday
Being the nice sis I am I took my little sister and her friend trick-or-treating. I did my sisters costume and it looked pretty cool. Perhaps ill upload a piccy. It was worth it to hear their reactions when someone says 'uuh trick.' and there like 'we dont have a trick...' im just thinking trick or treat isnt actually asking you a question its just saying give my some candy.
Also I got a new camera. One of those olympus tough ones. I prefer my old canon but it has some good features. The plan is that while my canon gets fixed i use this camera this term and then give it to my sister for howqua. So she basically got her howqua camera early so i can use it. I have no idea how long it will take to fix D:

-Ok back from howqua for the last time before its done. Kinda sad.
-It's stormy outside (l) (l)
- My external harddrive is dead along with all my lifes photos, like all of them. It will cost $2-3,000 to restore. I'm still deciding whether its worth it.
- My cameras broken too! I loved that camera. Andi think it literally just came out of waranty, like a week ago which really sucks.
Any way all my electronics are generally dieing. I actually cried today when i found out my harddrive was actually dead.
yeah, making the most of my half term break..

Howqua
Three quarters over. wow.
We've finished skiing which was awesome. Four Day at Falls Creek X-Country Skiing was definitly a highlight. If I find any good pictures per.haps I'll upload them.
Now we're back to hiking. yay. I just cant wait to put that 15kg pack back on.
anyway I dont really want it to end.

Holidays
I have really done nothing, just the way I like it. I fallen back into my old sleeping pattern of 2-12. Down at my beachhouse at point lonsdale. At the start of the holidays we had a rowing bootcamp. I was in pain for 4 days afterwoods. hhmmm. I'm thinking that I wont do it next year. So thats just about been my holiday: sleeping, eating, shoppingand the occasional run.

and now to my Fetish
I can't help it. I'm completely and utterly obsessed with making sock creatures. Ever since my art teacher enlightened me with the knowledge of how to make a sock monkey I cant help making them. It all started with Cornelius the Sock Monkey, made for my sister for her birthday, then before I know it I have plans for so many other animals and I cant help going into a store without looking if they have any good knee high socks. I don't think I can ever look at a cool pair of socks in the same way again. I now have a collection of 'Corny' the sock monkey, Unnamed, thing 1 and thing 2 the Essendon Monsters and Ernie the Elephant. I've have many more projects coming up including a purple and black striped Soctopus. Yeah I have no life.

OK so on Wednesday we got evacuated from Howqua because of a bushfire threat.
That was my birthday aswell so it was a good present.
Yes, it was my birthday on 11/2. I'm now officially 15.
So yeah we get to stay home till Sunday then we have to go back to school at Lauriston.
I'm already missing Howqua.
It was a really good atmosphere and everyone was settleing in and now we've been uprooted and brought back.
I was missing my cats though so it was good to see them.
Milo has gotten alot fatter while I was gone.

A Little over-view of howqua so far -My house is called Cramond and it's really good. Nice people.
-We get one of those huge milo tins a week so I've eaten so much Milo recently.
-It's been so hot. around 43 everyday.
-so we've been taken to the river to swim everyday, abit boring after a while
-I can already feel my muscles building from walking all the hills.
-Uno is our house game. We lay after hours with our head torches.
-In Cramond we like stealing food from lunch and afternoon tea for our house. We have so many saladas.

Anyway I cant think of anything else- it's late, I'm tired

Ok So in exactly one week I will be at Howqua. It's like a school camp, but it goes for a year and your living and learning in the bush. You do lots of outdoor education and hikes, canoeing, mountain biking rock climbing ect. It will be really good I think. I can't even imagine how many messages I'll have when I get back, but I'll work through them.. somehow.
Hopefully I can get some good pictures while I up there.

Summer holidays are almost over which is disappointing, they went so fast. Didn't really do much... slept, worked, read, ate. Thats pretty much all.

I Think I have a personal best for most books read in a certain time period. You should have seen the pile next to my bed. It was about 1 m high. no jokes I can't even remember most but i'll try

Havent updated in a while...
I finished my exams last week, got them back yesterday. They were pretty good marks too. Exams really weren't that bad, it was just lots of tests then doing no other work, then we got a day of. Sometimes we have 3 tests in a week anyway...

We have pretty much no formal school for the rest of the term which ends in 2 weeks, then Howqua! yay.

A couple of weeks ago i got my first job... it's at an icecream shop near the beach.. It's really good fun and the pays good too.

I'm really looking forward to Howqua... I hope i get into a good house, with people who are nice. I'm going to need to take all my precious books... i can't leave them all on their own. I'll take them on the bus with me ;D. I coudn't trust the removalists. I'll take all my faves... around 20! maybe i'll have to cut down a bit...

Anyway 23 days till Christmas!

Im Back!
I arrived yesterday. We went on a 5 day 4wd tour in central australia. The things we saw were amazing!. We slept under the stars in swags . I said i'd take lots of pictures - and i did i took 1075! BUT my camera broke on the 2nd night. I'm really annoyed coz i loved that camera. I borrowed my dads for the rest of the trip.
Day 1-
Went to Ellery Creek Water Hole
Finke Gorge
Palm Valley - really good walk but to get there we had to go on the bumpiest road ive EVER been on.
Camped and there was a Dingo.
We stopped for lunch in a dried up river bed adn we got bogged!
Day 2-
Went up to a lookout
Drove along the same really bumpy road to get to Oak Valley were an aboriginal took us on a guided tour. On the way there we popped to tyres at the same time adn had to drive back to town.
Day 3 -
We were driving to Kings Canyon when we had to go through a gate and there was a camel there and it got through into the national park so we had to spend like 30 mib\ns trying to catch it and herd it back in which we finally did in the end. We walked up and around Kings canyon then stayed up there for the sunset. It was so beutiful and i took lots of pictures.
Day 4 -
We drove to uluru and walked around it. I wanted to climb but the aboriginals dont like you to and it was closed so i didn't. It's so big! We went to a sunset veiwing area and watched sunset on uluru.
Day 5 -
Last day we woke up and 4:30 and drove to uluru/kata jtuta sunrise veiwing area and watched the sun go up. We then drove to Kata Jtuta and walked the valley of the winds walk which was quite long but the best walk we did. We then drove back to alice springs and arived back in civilisation at sunset.
In the 3 days we had at the hotel after i pretty much just went in the pool and gym. I walked into town like 4 km away to get Brisingr. On our last day me and my mum walked into town and suddenly it started pouring. The whole town flooded in about 10 minutes. We were sheltering in a Hertz hire car place when it eased a bit and we were gonna make a run for it but then the nice guy at Hertz drove us home!
So yeah thats my holiday
I also got a new ipod! It the 80gb classic and i have put on heaps of movies and also bought the games Peggle and Tetris.
